"I now have a better understanding of what my body goes through in between my period. Hormones affect everything in my body! I knew of the LH and FSH but these images you shared helped me better understand how my brain communicates with my ovaries throughout the month. Being more mindful of stress, diet and reading my emotions before my period, this is where it's the toughest for me due to having ovarian cysts and fibroids. I want to balance my hormones so that I am not overwhelmed with excruciating cramps. When you said "It's not supposed to be dreadful or painful" I cried because I can recall having one cycle without cramps - it was as a result of eating plant-based (with little meat) and regular exercise.
